Steel fastback Tank from India

I think that looks good. I have an alloy tank on my Fastback from Bartel in Northern Ireland. (I think Asa Moyce the ex racer is the boss) my tank has the general profile of a fastback but it is almost flat sided and flat topped. It holds fuel and is the same colour as the other bits on my bike. Anybody not happy with the look of yours needs to have a word with himself.

It does look good - Just goes to show what with skill and patience can achieve.

Has it made it on to the bike yet?

Looks very nice , handle it with kid gloves initially . Itll harden up over time . Same with getting FUEL on it , 6 or 10 weeks is best . 2s mandatory . Good coat of wax so the fuel dont touch the paint , anyway .

Thanks guys,

I'm off on a 2 month trip on my 1975 BMW in a couple of weeks, so think that everything will have plenty of time to harden off. I've only started mounting the tail fairing, looks very nice.
At the painters there was a steel roadster tank, the underside of it was made by using a single steel pressing, looked much nicer than the underside of my tank, which looks as if it was built from bits and pieces of iron, salvaged from the Titanic.
