Standard/non-standard engine noises

Each Norton will sound different some are noisier than others after owning mine since new I know every sound it makes and I know when something needs adjusting by the sound and if it gets a sound that's not normal I will check it out and fix, but if the bike is running good, starts easy and no metal in you old drained oil then all is good.
I once put a long handle screw drive from my motor to my ear once, it sounded like someone had thrown a hand full of nuts inside my motor, never did that again lol, the bike is still running great, its when the normal noise stops that you got to worry about.
