Today I took a whiff of my bikes gas / petro. And of course even with the stabilizer I added before late summer, it’s stale smelling.

I made up a 3/8” I.D. X 3 foot / 1 meter length of drain hose with a 90° Quick push lock fitting (part number SUR&R KP135)

Then used a switchable relay that I have for diagnostic work on cars. This allows the use of the pump to pump out the old fuel. Simply remove the fuel pump relay, install the switchable relay (key off).

Turn on the switch relay and pump away. (Key off).
Drained the fuel in no time.

@Voodooo nice work. How good a fit are those push lock connectors you used? Are they suitable as a replacement for the factory items?

Those switchable relays are very handy.

The fitting is a perfect fit to the pump outlet. I didn’t check the OEM hose size because I only used 3/8 hose on the drain line. But the fittings come in different sizes for every fuel line size. I’ll have to see what size the OEM fuel hose is.

I have this kit….
It’ll have everything you’d need.

That's terrific.
What we need now is a quick release solution for the Domi tail. I had some ideas, just need more time on it.

Exactly. Those along with the plastic push clips and I have a tail tidy that needs to come off also at the same time
