Speedo Rebuild

Sent speedo to Vintage British Cables to be rebuilt. Took 2 weeks and cost about $200 including cable. PO bought repop cable and was a bit too long causing speedo to need repaired. Speedo looks like new and their cables are built to specs.

Like a beautiful timepiece. I also find them easier to read than the screens we get on modern bikes.

Hi Ed,

Sorry for the late reply.
These are genuine Chronometric instruments that were fitted to the BSA SR 1961 (same year as mine). The difference is the speedo as it goes to 140 MPH on the SR. They require different rotations as well. In my case due to the SRM oil pump that drives the tacho I had to get it changed as the cable goes the other way,
