Replaced my speedometer gearbox with a new unit and reassembled the rear axle. The spacing between the rear hub disk and gearbox seems larger than before. The dogs are clicked in and every thing seems good; ready to torque. What do you think? Is this the way they fit, no worry about rubbing but I expect to see the lithium gease I packed it with all over the place after the first run

btw I didn't get the economy gearbox

I had the same issue.

I found it wasn't a spacer issue.

The speedo drive comes with a brass inner spacer (with felt inner) that takes up the slack betwen the hub and drive... just ensure that it is as far out as can be before inserting drive into hub...

cheers
