So many new upgrades available these days

Yep I find it hard to know when to stop 😂😂if you zoom in you can see I made clock holders to look like Norton ones
Also I made the stainless headlamp brackets to fit the Yamaha forks look like commando ones
Infact the whole bike was built from parts for very little money
Ignore the front mudguard it'd been in a altercation with a van!
Nice Bike Mate...appreciate your innovation 👍

Braking performance is a no-brainer to me.
I started two wheels with an engine on a mini bike in the 3rd grade and I cannot remember the amount of times since I wish I could have stopped sooner. Some of it my fault some of it lousy brakes.
WGAS about looks when cell phone jockeys are paying more attention to their text than the road.
I am fully dedicated to real world modern braking technology.
JMHO.

Great picture!

Haha kids don't you love them, my daughter made such a mess with the paint in my shed but you can't get angry she thought she was helping she was only 2 1/2 years old but to see that big grin on her face, priceless.
When my son was 3 or 4 he came up to me and said "I cut the wires for you dad" I said that's good
Then as it dawned on me what he'd said I asked "what wires?"
He said "the ones in the shed"
I walked down and took a look
Sure enough there were two wires cut on a battery I had on charge!
Two crocodile clips still on the terminals with the wires hanging falornly down
Bloody lucky it wasn't the power feed to the charger!!!
The worse thing was I was supposed looking after him !!!

My dad left the hand drill out while he and my mom were in the front yard.
I "fixed" the hardwood floors in the entry hall with 3/8" bit.
I have my whole shop on a master breaker and shut it off every time I leave...my grandkids (5 & 7) have found the hiding spot for the key and let themselves in at will.
I just can't admonish them for being curious. But I do know all the power tools are powered down.
They love to rearrange the tool drawers and the nut and bolt containers on the work bench.

My dad could nail two pieces of wood together. I havr 3 young step-grand-daughters. One lives with me full time, the other 2 are here every second week. They are my legacy to the world. They have my logic and they love motorcycles - I love them dearly. I always thought kids from disrupted families were disadvantaged - that is not true. These three kids can get their heads around anything which is complex, almost instantly. The youngest one is an absolute genius. The next oldest has a mind like a steel trap and plays chess. The oldest is the best at maths in her class at school, and is a born leader. Their ages ar 6, 8, and 10.
I do not believe in teaching girls about girly things, but they all love music and computers. My own daughter is a lawyer.
One of our friends is a lesbian. Her father blamed himself for that, because he taught her how fix cars. I think I might get conversion therapy and become one. I would be a convertible.

Good brakes are more important than more horsepower. You can only go as fast as you can stop. The front brake on my Seeley 850 is one-finger operation and it stops the bike like hitting a wall. It means I can cope easily with anything which happens in front of me, as quickly as I can think. If your brake is excellent, you can have a slow bike, but ride it faster.
When I race, I usually get into one corner somewhere a bit too hot. But I know how to recover from that situation. I ease the front brake on, and while the front of the bike is down, it runs wide losing speed. There is a point in the corner where you must let go of the brake and accelerate. That is the importance of having your bike oversteer as you accelerate - this stuff happens within a couple of seconds. It is not a matter for concern. It is just a technique you learn.

The roads are so busy these days you need good brakes that can stop great, no use having brakes that only slow you down, the original stock brakes just weren't up to it as they got older, just look at the stock disc and small round pads and a MC sized bore for twin disc set up and no good for a single disc, no matter what fixes you do to the stock front disc one day they will let you down when you really need good brake and without warning as mind did, I was lucky when mind did it wasn't at higher speeds, woke me up that life could have been cut short.
No matter how you ride or riding style great brakes are better than just average brakes that just slow you down.
It's a scary thought with my 1960 Manxman project bike with single leading front brake set up.
