They were used on police bikes here in UK, as for near constant speeds, they give a good accurate-ish read out when catching speeders...no fluctuating reading!

Not yet... The bike i was interested in seems to have now sold... Plus i am right at an expensive part of my RD350lc hybrid build so funds have taken a big hit
