I've finally got pipes, reducers and tees fitted. Would like to hear how others have tackled this ? Roy.

The best way is as follows:

1. Remove the Mikuni.
2. Fit two Amals.
3. Connect pipes and go !
Tried that 22 years ago hence the mikuni. Amal quality control? Best conversion I've done ! Sorry , but fitted an amal conversion to an Indian 500 bullet. Worse than the cheap Indian micarb it replaced. Unajustable float height and it was left to an independent company to come up with one. Oh and floats that were not ethanol resistant. That's only 12 or so years ago? Not a fan, Roy. Do you still use points and condensers ?

Sorry mate, didn’t mean to touch a nerve so badly !

Points and condensers? YES! In my manly magneto 💪👊

Not a nerve at all. Sorry if it came out like that. But I paid about 3 or400 quid for new amals which had tolerances similar to carbs that had done about 20000 ! They were of course all we had back then . So were oils ? The slides in particular wear terribly in any amals I've bought. The mikuni one is like new. A bottom fuel entry mikuni would be a no brainer. But nothings perfect. Sigh !

My 930 Amals are in a box up on a shelf where they are absolutely perfect. I take pride in not throwing them away.

That said my Norton now after replacing the TriSpark that failed runs excellent. Maybe I should reinstall the 930 Amals so I can stay busy chasing gremlins for a few months. Nah, my time is precious and they are too small. lol

Anywho, routing fuel lines would depend entirely on which fuel taps I chose. However, basically like zotz mentioned with one good fuel filter between the T and carburetor.
