It is getting close to the start of the 2012 race effort. I am sorting the race bike inventory after a 16 month hiatus . So far I have not been able to find the charging harness for the Scitsu Tach. This is probably the best forum to find some help for the duplicating the two wire harness. Not a good thing to hook it up back'ard. I would appreciate someone with a Scitsu relaying that info. No joy from their website. Under a time restraint for making a track day appointment in a few weeks.

RJ,

It's a simple 1/8" phone jack with a hot and ground. I'm going to speculate the hot (+) is the tip, but if you wait until tomorrow I'll look at my charging cables in the shop and confirm.

Good to have you back.

I am not interested in this Scitsu that has a white back, laying in the basement in a box. Has a wiring harness with alligator clips and a bracket, You should buy it for spare parts for $45 including shipping in the continental US. Hope this helps. I don't know what it fits or if it works, it is just as I got it along with a bunch of stuff I bought once.

If Mr Wrinch isn't interested I'll take the risk.

Thanks Gents for the offer and for allowing me the first chance to get some spare parts. I need the info to get the $'s coming your way. Off to work. I will check the forum this evening.

RJ,

Indeed, the 1/8" mini jack is wired with hot (+) to the tip and ground (-) to the shield. The instructions state to connect it to a bike battery and let it charge for 24hrs.
