Anyone familiar with these? Don't know how good they are, but I think I just fell in love from some pictures of them :shock:
 
The more I check these out I think they are works of art, and at around $1k a piece I would be too scared to use one on the street. Beautiful though...Apparently carbon fiber, leather, and chrome. Visor verion comes with 3 different visors. Custom paint in any shade, plain, metallic, and flake

Dang nice. I need to get a Silver one to include with the sale of my Silver monoshock Commando...
 
The lady on their logo reminds me of the one on the Velocette logo.Beautiful helmets but are they really $1k ?

The one with the visor is $1000. The 3/4 is $7-800....
The more I read about them I think they are worth the money-just not my money haha...for awhile anyway. They weigh next to nothing, having a leather liner is anti bacterial, and one reviewer said it's the quietest helmet he's ever used.
 
I wouldnt be interested in the visor type but $700 is not that unreasonable I think.I mean My Arai Corsair was almost $600 and that was five years ago.
 
Mmmmm, they are slick looking. I am looking for a open face or half, but not 1K. pelican if you buy one I'll wear it for you and let you know how it works out.. :mrgreen:
 
Ha, we'll see. the 3/4 is like $700 cheapest I've found. The visor version has to undergo dot tests so not sold in the US yet. If my one day a month job turns into part time or full time maybe I'll get myself one for christmas :twisted:

$700 is not bad.$800 was the cheapest I have found so far.
 
It's weird how quality shows. Compared to a bell or nolan of similar stayle the bell or nolan look like crap compared to this thing, but then again the bell or nolan are cheap as heck. I'd love to see one of these in real life

I agree since I bought a Ruby which I got on a really good deal. The quality of the Ruby is above the 3 Davida helmets I own and a Bell I just bought. I'm an open face helmet junky.

I snagged one of those black and white polka dot helmets. Kinda girly but I really liked it for some reason and I figure a polka dot helmet would stand out in traffic and help keep me from getting run over. They fit very nice although my medium is a bit snug but it will pack out a bit I'm sure. I did buy a cheap Bell for the hot days since Id hate to get the lambskin liner of the Ruby all sweaty and crusty. :D
 
Coco, I am thinking about picking up a visor model. Have an email to them about the details. I kinda mentioned it to the wife and she said it isn't that expensive if you look at the reason you are buying a helmet........great wife I have. Problem is if you ding it up and I imagine you couldn't just leave it on your bike like a cheap average helmet.

Mine asked why I had to spend a whole $20 on my helmet. :cry:

Dave it's simple, we keep our money separate and she doesn't care that I will never retire :wink:
 
lol... they said the visor version should be dot approved and sold in the US by the end of the year. There was a cheap one on ebay a few weeks ago for around $300, but I couldn't get any money :(
