As SwooshDave pointed out, in another thread, I do have a vested interest in RPC; I purchased the business on 7/14 and moved it from West Virginia to Massachusetts. Stan and I started takling, in ernest, back in January. RPC has been tucked under the umbrella of Northeast Cycle Works, a company that will be offering restoration of components to full builds once we get the RPC "division" running comfortably. My facility is a real "brick & mortar" affair located in Hudson, MA where you can visit and pick up your order (please give me a heads-up--it can take time to pick an order). Came by late in the day and I'll buy you a Blue Moon or an Old Speckled Hen; which may be a "limited time" offer :D

RPC is best known for its comprehensive offerings of stainless steel fasteners and specialized components, but also offers Boyer Micro-Digital electronic ignitions, Mikuni carb conversions, Cables, Sparx 3 phase alternators as well as a host of other high quality parts. RPC offers its product lines for fitment on Norton, Triumph, BSA as well as BMW airheads. Fasteners can be purchased by application or by size; I have English, US and Metric thread pitches.

I am happy to offer members of this forum a 5% discount on purchases, please e-mail me at sales@rockypointcycle at the time you place your order; we ship internationally as well. Hours of operation are, typically, 10-5 EST, e-mail and voice-mail are 24/7; if you want to visit, don't keep it a secret or you may run into a sign I hang on the door on good days that says: "Gone Riding". http://www.Rockypointcycle.com, 978-212-5432

Best of luck, I'm very happy with the passenger pegs I bought last month.

I bought a number of parts from RPC a few years ago, biggest money item was a Mukini kit.
I found the quality, service, and price to be as good as it gets. Congratulations and best of luck... it takes some real stones to invest in any business these days!

Congrats on the new venture Bill. I will make it a point to drop by before too long. - BrianK

Ms Peel wore RPC's bling fasteners, but mainly because of the alloy strength quality Stan had sourced. Same stock will be used in my future special needs. Too bad it ain't factory issue for plain jane restorations. Good success on keeping at it.

I can vouch for the fact that Bill is definately a rider; I visited him last week to do some consulting and the first thing he did was take me to the shop and put me on his beautiful Mk3 for a great ride through the countryside with him and his son, Chris. I have ridden a LOT of Commandos, and his is certainly as nice and well sorted as any.

I am pleased that I was able to pass Rocky Point Cycle on to a fellow enthusiast who shares my love of motorcycles, commitment to customer service and quality parts that has been a hallmark of RPC for the past 28 years. He will take RPC to the next level, with complete restoration services available.

I just ordered an airfilter and a set of gaskets.

I just assumed i was dealing with Stan.

Can i get that 5% back?

Just kidding. Good luck with your business. Stan had a very good reputation for follow-thru and support.

I've been dealing with Stan for most of the years he's been in business. Last year I invested heavily in stainless with him for my '69 S restoration. He's always been great to deal with. Unfortunately, my first dealing with Bill has been a warranty issue on a Sparx ignition I got from Stan last year, but he's been more than willing to help with it. From our couple of conversations I believe he's quite knowledgeable and will carry on Stan's great products and service. It sounds like he's got a lot more room than Stan ever had and will probably increase his offerings over time. I'm looking forward to seeing where he takes Rocky Point in the future.
