RGM now has their custom long folding Commando kick start lever with swivel, #050179, back in stock. Paid 105 pds = $129.02 US plus 28 pds = $34.41 shipping to Oregon USA, for total $163.43 US. Deal with Anna, she is the best for friendly help and service.

Anna and Rodger are both great to deal with and you be very happy with the long folding kick start, it fold right away when not being used and the extra leverage makes it so much easier with your kicking as well it grips the spine so much better as my stock kicker I was always tightening it up, haven't had to since I put the T160 folding kicker on and that's been over 7 years now.

It should really help me since I have rear sets (Tarozzi) and the stock kick lever sticks out and my shin hits it. Folding lever should put it completely out of the way. Plus I need that extra umph to get a good "kick it like you mean it" full kick for instant start which my bike does if I really get a good pound on the lever.

Mine only needs a good swing for the first kick for the day once its been started for the day it only needs a 1/2 a swing on the kicker to fire up with the Joe Hunt Maggie it fires up instantly and I have no problems sitting on the seat to kick it to life, but having that extra length does make it a lot easier.

Some people might just find that they don’t need to go for an electric foot, after that have fitted one of these levers

The one I bought with the same type of folding mechanism did not work with rear sets

Same here, that's why it's now on my Commando instead of my Dommie cafe racer.

It wont work with the loop over type rear sets like Dunstall and clones . Works with the NY Norton and CNW style rear sets.

I got one a while back for my mk3 and couldn’t get it to work. It didn’t matter how I fit the kickstart on the splines it kept fouling on, if memory serves me right, the rear hydraulic setup.

"WILL NOT FIT A MK3 COMMANDO WITH STANDARD FOOTRESTS.

FITS ALL NORTON KICKSTART SHAFTS, COMMANDO, AMC, LAYDOWN, UPRIGHT ETC.
ALSO WORKS WITH NORMAN HYDE MK3 REARSETS."

If you have folding footrests on your mk3, I think they would.

It wont fit using the TTI box and the reverse shift lever. Or at least I never could get it to work.
