Sad indeed. Where are the young(er) enthusiasts willing to serve the vintage bike scene? Are businesses like Clubman Racing and Old Britts just good for a side business?
I wonder if Frank tried to sell his business as a running entity, does anyone know?

I wonder if Frank tried to sell his business as a running entity, does anyone know?

From what he's posted on his web site it seems he's been trying to sell the business but has not had any reasonable offers.

Frank treated me real well over the years, from my first paying client's fairing, clip-ons, rearsets & mounts, to one of my last client's stuff...

At least he can sell most of his stuff, I had to SCRAP a lot of stuff...

I remember when Pete's Cycles in Mesa AZ closed. Domi offered him .10 on the dollar for his inventory. A bunch of Australians came buy and bought it all for far more than that and shipped it all down under. They got 30 years worth of inventory Norton, Matchless, AJS and Ducati. I understand he was having cataract eye problems and he had lung cancer (Camel Straights) took his own life rather than drain the family bank account. Sad.
