Hello Forum.
Just dismantled the gearbox. Clutch side bearing bores both gone. worn.
Just looked at Andover and it is $400 + $20 million for international postage. Cant afford that.
I read here recently about the Atlas shell is a cheaper replacement.
can somebody please tell me where I may purchase one of these new Atlas shells.
or has somene in Australia got a surplus shell that has no wear or cracks in the clutch side bearing housings. I am in a spot of bother here. no box, no bike.
Thanks for your help and advice
Bradley

There are no new Atlas shells that I know of just used ones at about half the cost with good bores and easier fit than twice as expensive Cdo specific shells. Do as I did to make more friends around the world. Get the world wide supplier list off this forum's tech post and start with the closer ones till you find a vendor with what ya seek. Who knows you might find a vendor with good Cdo shell willing to part with it at a bargain.

How much is a TTI box? Shipping is "local" for you.

I'd suspect you can find a used shell too. Just check it carefully.

Plus there are three Andover dealers in Australia, did you try any of them?
