Did you order by phone? Just planning ahead. May be better if I go through AF1.View attachment 12049 I ordered these on Tuesday at 5pm,& courier dropped them off this morning (Thursday) so cheers Max, all good, just gotta put them on now, also got a couple of those button mushroom Allen bolts for the tank mount.
I emailed max & stated what I wanted, he emailed back with the cost & listed items with part numbers,it’s initially a Pro Forma invoice number with details of an on line transfer, but I just rang & Paid with a card on the blower ( telephone). Oh and I do believe the front sprocket is slightly different in the size of the spline on the Mk2 engine,so the number in picture is for mark 2 enginesDid you order by phone? Just planning ahead. Hi Tony ,won’t be this year ,but I’ll get close ,” winters coming” as they say in Game of Thrones, shorter days, cooler temps etc, but I’ll go out down to 10 degree C.Hello Richard , I look forward to your 20,000 mile anniversary . We are too far along to turn back now hey ? I will be right behind you .
I used to be indecisive but now I'm not so sure!!
I am still giving serious thought to going down to a 17 tooth front sprocket. The CR is an instrument of torture for my old body, so it only gets used as a Sunday morning thrashing toy; 200 Km and the lads are lifting me off it! Never gonna tour on it so am pretty sure that going down one tooth for a little more low end grunt (at the expense of top end) would be a smart choice for me. Think we've had this discussion before but the updated opinion of those who have already switched to a 17 tooth would be most welcome. Thanks.
Steve
Tony,"Overall" , That is the key word . If maximum acceleration is your goal the 17T cannot be beat. With the 17T , the 961 can actually be called QUICK ! This is a real world opinion and experience.
