Yes, that's correct. When I built my bike, did it largely without reference to the parts or workshop manual, relying on my previous knowledge of fifteen years earlier, and I incorrectly refitted my gearbox without this spacer/washer and slightly kinked my new engine plates :evil:

This of course put the gearbox mainshaft out of true with the crankshaft very slightly
