Production Racer Value

I've got a line on a documented 1972 model in europe. Bike is museum quality, never raced, two owner with 3,100 miles. Price is approx 17,000 USD. Not sure of cost to ship bike to Chicago or Milwaukee. Thoughts? Thanks.. Bob

Wow, An authentic production racer that's never been raced is a rare bird indeed.
They made like what, 200 of them? (better make that 100 or so). I'd proceed with caution.
Sounds like a lot more exist than were ever built.
If it's legit, that price sounds about right (or maybe at the high end of retail).

Please post pictures of it....would love to compare it to my well-worn '72 CPR.
