I am so tickled with a product I just have to share. My wife brought home a Kobalt 120-Volt Function Air Inflator from Lowe's Home Improvement store. She got tired of watching me wrestle the air compressor from the shop, through the house and to the garage every time I needed to air up tires (which seems to be every time I ride.) I was dubious at first. This thing is a tire infiltrator that runs on 12DC or 110AC. I have used these before and they usually burn up and melt down after a few uses. It remains to be seen if that happens to this one. What's cool about the Kobalt unit, you set the pressure you want in the digital display, clip the hose on the valve stem and hit the button. It will pump up the tire to the preset pressure. It will even release air if the pressure is higher than the setting. After years and years of crawling around on the floor, using high pressure air hoses, fighting dodgy air chucks and guessing at vague pressure gauge readings I am just thrilled with how easy this thing is. I did let it rest between tire fills because I am sure it will melt it's motor otherwise.

This all may be academic and I may be preaching to the choir but it sure did cut down on tire inflation time

I got a cheap electric-drill sized one from a German-based supermarket chain here in the UK.
I expected it to last a year or two, but it's been great - 4 years and counting.

Yep, agree, small cordless compressors are extremely handy, I use mine to air up tires in my small fleet of bicycles, motorcycles, and cars. My big 120V compressor gets much less use now. FWIW if you already have cordless tools many makers sell a compressor that will work with your batteries, mine below is from the Milwaukee M12 line.

Sounded good to me so I went looking for it. Available on Amazon "on sale" at $93.28 with Prime free shipping but at Lowe's online it's $89.98 with free shipping.

Amazon with Prime was something great not long ago but has been slipping lately.

I will offer another suggestion...
everyone uses old toothbrushes for cleaning but the bristles are usually too soft for a lot of jobs. The brushes used for dentures are much firmer and have a better grip. and they are two sided.

Fantastic. I have a drawer full of brushes but they are usually too big. The denture brushes sound like just the thing.
