Possibly selling my 50th Anniversary CR...

If it’s still standard, meaning still got cat and restrictive pipes and lean fuel map, then it is almost certainly nothing to worry about.

IMHO, if it still starts and runs well, I’d just get some miles on and get it de-catted ASAP.

Concur with the above, excatly the same for me, if it runs ok, put up with it for 500 miles and then get the service and decat and remap. Have you got a spare set of long or short pipes with your purchase, if so, get those fitted. This all = new bike

Quite common!
Hand built but parts not all made at Donnington - mine was a loose connector in the wiring loom, quickly sorted and no other issues since. Unfortunately the ECU cuts the engine when it senses a problem - real or otherwise - and a loose connector sends a “problem” signal to the ECU.

Also Agree with Nigel and Welsh, first service, new map, short pipes and a different bike emerges.

When was the bike built? There were a bad batch of lambda sensors fitted within the last 18 months - get the current ones fitted & you should be OK as I suffered the same problem on my August 2018 bike.

Will I have to bring mine back to Donnington to get it sorted?

Sounds like you need to take it back to be looked at then.

And whilst it’s there, get the open pipes, de cat and re map dome too.

If you got it from there - yes
Otherwise dealer should be able to sort.
If from Donnington then ring them on Monday, they might be able to arrange a warranty fix at a more local dealer or arrange return. ECU light could be anything - from what Nigel and Welsh suggest, or regental. It could be serious but probably isn’t
 
Depending on the ECU mapping, with the light on the bike might ride OK or it might be like a kangaroo - it needs sorting
 
Just saw your issue - this is exactly what mine did when I collected from factory, got 70 miles and ECU light on. Farting, missing etc. Cut out at roundabout then same as you - any throttle and it cut out.
Easy fix but a pain to be sure.
Needs to be linked to computer to identify the problem
