Watching Montelatici's uTube link for the CB350 lap of Summit Point brought back a question that I have yet been able to answer despite having read Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance 3 times - and the last time I was consciously looking for all the clues. For some reason CB350 is the impression I got reading the book, but does anyone really know what Robert Pirsig rode?

so I was close, just a couple of years and 40cc out. There goes something I'd puzzled over for the last 30+ years.

Pity about his son Chris though - an innocent victim of senseless violence.
