Phil Yates has passed away

Hello,

I wanted to let those that knew Phil about his passing. Phil was a larger than life character. Although he was banned from the forum many years ago because he could not control what he was posting, we always kept in touch and I shall miss my conversations with him. Phil had a stroke last week. He was transferred from Cowra to a hospital in Sydney NSW, where he did not make it.

They are dying like flies. Flies probably believe they live for years. When you are bored, life gets longer. James Dean did not live long. - 'Live fast, die young and make a beautiful corpse'? - Flies must be bored shitless !
I am 83, I do not worry about dying because I have achieved. I just enjoy living.

Sad news indeed, I had the good fortune to work with Phil many years ago. RIP.
