If SG had parts why was he stripping customers bikes that were in for service?
Because SG was and is a crook all the way to the bone, and even now, some people can't see it!

Or Spain, the head temp probe is FAE 33370!Better Taiwan than China .
I have always adhered to the adage "if it ain't broke don't fix it", plus there's any guarantee to consider so reluctant to remove the sensor for now. Looking at the parts cats. though it looks as per Bosch and Honeywell units. For cross ref Meat & Doria of Italy #82080, JLR #EAC 3927, Lucas #ETC 8496. All readily available and ranging from £10 - £20 UK.Measure the diameter of the probe tip man ! is it 4mm or 7.3mm ?

No problem and yes, I believe mine is euro 4, 2019. I agree with your thinking and that all heads are probably drilled and tapped the same with different probes dependent on supplier at the time of build. Availability and cost not being a problem I'll source a spare once curfew is lifted.Fair enough. So it looks as though not all Euro 4 Norton 961’s have the 6mm hole or the 4mm probe tip. I though this but wasn’t sure. Like all things Norton 961 a small mystery. Do you have a Euro 4 Norton 961 ?
Here here, as I have said previously and say again, at least we have cracking bikes out of it, the more I look the more I'm pleasantly surprised with build and component quality.I think you and one or two others on these forums have a closed mind. You wouldn't likely aknowledge that anything good came out of Donnington, am I correct? It seems to me obvious that the guy wanted to make Norton a success and actually built some beautiful bikes. They developed new models as they could see the company would be dead in the water without them. Given some more funding and time, who knows, the overseas licenses could have paid off and any loans and pensions may have been put right.
I don't deny that reading what has come out is pretty shocking and some very sharp practices seem to have been uncovered. We can all look on now and say that TT racing was a big mistake but he was just trying to build the brand (and no doubt massage his ego at the same time). The BBQ's throughout the summer were I guess to get people talking about the brand and trying to get people to become part of the Norton family/owners. But there were obvious excesses like numerous astons and no doubt expensive travel/entertainment budgets. The guy had/has obvious skills but somewhat naive in the way he controlled the costs. Actually he is no different from the vast majority of stock market listed companies on the UK AIM market, where they have huge salaries/expenses, living off shareholder investment and rarely being prudent with finances.
If he has acted illegally, then he should face up to that and maybe serve time. I also think he should then be completely stripped of any assets, whether in the UK, overseas or in his wifes (or others names).
I am not trying to defend him but actually stating reality, I have a cracking machine that i love (at the moment) and many others do. I wish TVS every success and hope they still build bikes in britain and look after existing owners.

The big question is, where did it all start to go wrong?
IMO it's when he acquired Spondon as a stepping stone, then he begun to get out of his depth...... you and all the other owners would not have acquired your motorcycle if SG hadn't taken some people for mugs like the big pension fiasco, just you remember this when you have a smile on your face when you ride your bike up the road, it's you who has a closed mind also, and you don't give a f**k.

You seem to be confusing grey haired pensioners with high risk investors looking to make tax free savings with a big return.... with any high risk investment your funds may go up or down... read the small print on your own pension plan. It is crap to lose hard earned money in any investment but you only have to look at the volatility in the current market to see that huge losses have been made. The big question is, where did it all start to go wrong?
