Paddock Stand

I use this £25 from a local show.

I checked my 961 SF is 6 mm. I might order one od these, sure would make lubing the chain and other basic maintenance easier!

I went to Harbor freight this afternoon, $31.00 with a 20% off coupon which they always seem to have. I am a cheap SOB. It does not come with the spools so I will either make some tomorrow from a piece of delrin or order them from Revilla with the link in the above post. It is Chinese quality but probably more then adequate for the number of times I will use it!

Speak to your local Yamaha dealer as the spools for mine are from an R6 I think. Cost me about £8.

Good to know. Have two nearby. Not a big fan of their tools, but some items come in quite handy. Got a decent little compressor on sale and a coupon for 38 bucks. Gets my tires up to snuff in a minute. Oh.....and microfiber rags. Nice and soft and CHEAP :D

Not bad for$30.00 Its actually very sturdy on the bike but it started raining outside before I could take a pic. So I took this crummy one!

I know they are cheap but they do the job. Looks good

I agree . But having a stand with wheels makes it easier to move the machine around once on the stand . I paid about $110 for mine (Black Widow) . But for that money I got a front and rear stand , both with wheels . I use the stand all the time , even during storage my 961 is on the stand under a cover.

I actually like the looks of that stand from Harbor Freight. Looks kind of mean instead of some cheap brass finished tubing.

I have a couple of Black Widow stands. Big bang for the buck! I used them on my Daytona mostly, but they are adaptable. I only went with the Pitbull stand for my 961 because of the tight space she's in.

Just got mine. They do have very nice rollerblade type wheels on them TONYA. Thanks for the tip BPHORSEGUY. Excellent buy. Nice and light. I may try a piece of thin clear tubing on the forks to prevent scratching up the spools.
