I had some time today, so I removed the Wassal straight through silencers, after starting and recording it, and then installed the old rusty original silencers I had laying around. They have a chamber with a block at the end inside them. I was surprised the insides didn't blow out of them.

Anyhow, the originals do have a deeper throaty sound to them, but hardly noticeable on the videos I made. Not sure it would be worth the problems to try to make a set given the slight difference. If anyone wants to hear it, I'll post them, but like I say....

I'm going to have another Urquell which will probably put me to sleep. If I'd had time I would have rode, but we're going to a movie at 5. This will give me a chance to re-position the exhaust and install the stainless spacers I got for the LS Z plate.

One of the silencers has a bad thread for the dog leg bracket isolator, I'll helicoil it and take it out on the road to see for sure what they sound like. Maybe even get the wifey to listen to it in comparison. I'm sure there'll be a few days left yet.
