Oil Pressure light switches

I did contact the seller, he blamed it on faulty wiring, I’ve check and double checked. I might just try another unit as there inexpensive.

To Mwood7800. I'm Graham from improvingclassicmotorcycles who made your charge warning light. I last heard from you in 2018 and I thought everything was working ok in your last email. Having seen your post here, I tried emailing you but got a message back from the mail handler that your address no longer exists. Hence my posting on the forum to get in touch with you.

I'm always happy to advise customers with problems, so it'd be great if you got in contact. Sending a video by email of the warning light when it's not behaving as you'd expect would really help (for example I might be able to tell straight away if it's RFI from unsuppressed ignition with a video). But from your saying "I can cycle the key and get it to work sometimes" suggests that the
ignition switch might be making a poor connection. Best way to check it is to take it off the bike and probe the pins with a digital multimeter set on 200 ohm range. While probing, waggle the terminals and if you ever get anything other than perfect continuity, then the switch needs fixing or replacing. Switches often have connectors rivetted on, the rivets get tired and the switch makes intermittent contact.

Similarly to Swooshdave, when you say "I don’t have the hang of what it’s trying to tell me" it'd be great if you could elaborate and I'm sure I could help.

Best regards to all

Don, PayPal sent including shipping info and proceeds toward mentioned beer fund.
