So no whinging. message me or madass140@gmail with your shipping address
Used to be US$30 + US$6 postage. wont surprise me if the postage cost has gone

Saved my engine on an evening ride when the crank breather hose popped off the oil tank, subsequently dumping all my oil, that orange light came on and I immediately pulled over, as it was dark my OP pressure guage was useless
I guess you haven't read some of the meathead (cue Archie Bunker) replies on FB for the same post. (I got a couple of those UK made oil/charge units to go with the DP sender set up)

Not seen the posts. What are these oil/charge units if I may ask?

@acadian

Take a look here: https://www.improvingclassicmotorcycles.com/products.htm

The "Standard 12V Positive earth combined Charge/Oil Warning Light" allows you to use the standard Lucas bulb holder (also perfect for the MK3 with instrument panel)
They do one with an LED too if you want to go up that route.

The separate box is about the size of a postage stamp, so easy to hide away in the headlight.

I have one and get a lot of false readings on charging, sometimes I get a steady red blinking no charge light even though I’m at 14v
I can cycle the key and get it to work sometimes. Wiring has been checked and double checked. Same issue on both bikes.

Is there a sensor that will fit in the Norton primary cover without surgery? Not too interested in an oil pressure gauge, just that there is oil pressure. I had an anti drain valve malfunction this past season and it resulted in a severe blow up followed by excessive alcohol consumption. Got the engine rebuilt in time for winter storage.

Look at the first post by Madass, it locates in a banjo for the hi pressure feed for the head, the primary side has no access to oil pressure

It tucks away quite neatly. I fitted one earlier in the year.

I would suggest contacting the seller if you are a having trouble with the function (taking for granted it is polarity correct) and ask him for an opinion, I bought my first unit back in 2008 (iirc) and has never missed a beat.

I bought two of the DP oil pressure switch units, any device that gives you some form of peace of mind is money well spent imho.

I did contact the seller, he blamed it on faulty wiring, I’ve check and double checked. I might just try another unit as there inexpensive.

I have one of those kits and another waiting to go on the other bike.

I don’t have the hang of what it’s trying to tell me. IIRC the instructions are pretty clear you want to connect directly to the battery.

The problem with warning lights is that you don’t know if the system you are monitoring is wonky or the warning lights. It’s always best to calibrate the system first as a baseline and then install warning lights. I, of course, won’t be following that sound advice.
