Country flag
As I list through the mist, over hill and dale,
The fall of the year near, as I search for an ale.
The steed beneath me roars on and on,
Fire from her pipes as I whistle the song.
The Commando's in fine tune and joins in pretty soon,
But RATS , the prince of darkness has arrived to my gloom.
As I sit in the darkness wondering what to do,
I suddenly remembered I packed a home brew.
I took a big swell and said "oh well"",
Not far from my friend's house to pay him a call.
HAPPY NEW YEAR ONE AND ALL

I love the peom. šŸ¤£

Joe Lucas got a bum rap. (An undeserved bad reputation)
The electrical components from Lucas were every bit as good, or better than the offerings from the USA/German/Italian/Japanese companies at the time.

The sketchy quality harness & connectors coupled with harsh vibration and poor design/routing is where most all the bullshit began.

Yes I agree. If you strap contemporary or even some modern components to a paint shaker you probably get the same results.

The bean counters will always win out in the end.

I also agree. But NV was forewarned..... I think it was Frank Damp, a former NV employee who has posted much here, related the story that Engineering recommended changing to Bosch electrics. After management got over their choking fit, they were told they would like the second choice recommendation even less.

Frank, parden me if I have my source wrong.
