After a few years in my garage... The sprag was cleaned, a new starter chain (was missing), points cleaned, cleaned oil strain and a Shorai battery... It started on the button ! My wife first ride: "very nimble, easy to ride, brakes ok, even the handlebars are ok!!".

I think she needs some proper riding boots. Leather pants too!
but very nice and I'm glad she is happy.
Good riding and happy trails.

With those Roadholder forks and 8" front brake, it's at least a Navigator, and the "...started on the button" statement suggests that it's an Electra. If ever there was a design that arrived at the showroom that really should have had more development the lightweight twins were it. Quite an attractive engine/gearbox but there was something wrong with the valve gear it was soooo noisy.
prmurat you have done well!!
cheers

prmurat,
I have an Electra as well, and I've been restoring it. I don't have whatever fitting is used to mount the front of the gas tank. I was wondering if you might be able to send me a photo of it, so I can try and fabricate one for myself.
Thanks
Jeff
