Hy there, my name Is Yves, 59 years old and I am from Belgium, I am new on this forum
Paul will send some pics from my Seeley Commando, just know that it is not only a "show bike" I ride 9.000 kms this season with the seeley (on the road)

The pics are from february, sins a change a few things on the bike, like the ugly breather system
I ride motorcycles already 40 years and still love it, but no bike give me more satisfaction as the Norton and this will be my last bike
I try to find a 4 ls drum brake from a Yamaha TZ or TD and a Ceriani GP fork to fit on the Seeley, only for the look of it, I know that the disc is better in feeling
but the drum is more "period" and looks great and I don't need to beat Rossi at the next GP
I will be glad to explain all the changes I make on the Seeley and the engine to make it fast
regards

Great stuff Yves, but you got to post some pictures! A Seely Commando is one serious bike, rare on the road and it would be nice to hear your story about owning it.

Yves, welcome to the forum, I look forward to some photos of your bike. A 4LS front brake is a powerful piece of equipment and given the narrow tyres that our bikes are fitted with I'm sure is more than adequate. I also like the look of these and will probably put one on a Dunstall Commando replica that I will be building as soon as I can move one or two other projects out of my workshop. A friend of mine bought a Grimeca 4LS brake and modified and polished the backing plates and made new levers, new intake mesh etc and it now looks like a very special unit indeed. These Grimeca brakes are still avaiable new and are at least half the price of a genuine or replica Fontana, Yamaha, Cerriani brake etc.

Good luck
Dave

Yves,
Wow, most nice. A very serious looking bike! You are very lucky being able to tool around Europe on it. I especially like the AN fittings on the oil lines, can you say where you got them?

Cheers,

VERY nice, indeed!

That bike is all business. Just full of trick bits from front to back.

Hello! wow! what a beauty....and looks fast!
ad Brit303: I think these are tomasselli gold commander clip-ons......and these are the clamps.
or am i completely wrong and you meant something completely different?

You can find it in every car racing shop, but i dont like the blue anodisation, so I will polish all of them to bare alloy

What are the small brass things haging off the clip-on handle bars?

The clip-ons appear to have short, vertical, fittings of some sort on their underside ... still don't understand what they are.

Can't see what connection these down tubes have to attaching the bars to the fork tubes ... my clip-ons clamp around the individual fork-tubes.

Still confused in New Scotland.
