Now I have a question to pose, there is a breather hole directly under the primary side main bearing that drops oil straight on the road,
I would like to either block the hole or direct the breather to a catch bottle.
Does anyone have experience in this matter or should I just learn to love the mouthful of oil she spits out when she starts? Freddy.
On later model Dommi 650ss and Atlas Norton fitted a closed silo/ tower tube behind the oil filler cap where the engine breather tube fitted into the top, these came out somewhere in the 1960s?
If you want to retain your bikes originality then a small catch tank can be fitted, it would be more acceptable than leaving an oil puddle :!:
