Norton Limited forcing EBAY Removal- Norton blanket claim items are counterfeit

They are really pissing in their own chili on this one.
Nothing like taking the short sighted low road and undermining some of the best promotional advertising out there featuring their name and parts/products past and present.
The featured items are not some junk Chinese knock-offs. Ebay is a huge vendor for parts, acknowledge the name recognition and utilize it, make a deal, something that reflects smart product marketing and affiliation.

Well, at least that sounds reasonable.
Although, I wonder what the folks back at the factory would say if they ever found out that the dealer was selling parts for use in Donington bikes?
Look the other way, or try to stop it?
My guess would be nothing BT.

Business as usual - demand your parts - be prepared to wait - lowest priority allocated - no guarantee they’ll fit.

There’s no evidence that Norton has decided to stop selling parts for Donny Norton - in fact the opposite as parts continue to trickle through albeit slowly.

My guess - what they may be guilty of is not re-defining the arrangement for Donny bikes well enough for some dealers when they initiated the network. And their spares provision is slow, even for Solihull bikes.

I think we continue to confuse access with availability.

The ‘feature items’ were not removed from EBay.

Just looked on ebay....still plenty of knock off Norton tshirts and keyrings, along with flags and signs.
