Norton Dunstall 810 head, NOS question. Is this head considered NOS?

Well thats tricky, for me I dont think I would tangle with an 810 project at this point in my riding life. Id rather have reliability vs a smoking fast Norton. That being said, in my younger days the faster the better.
And, I had the arm strength to hang on! So my guess is there is someone who wants to create that 810 norton. I think this head is about a nice an example that youll find anywhere. Who knows, it might be the last piece to someones puzzle.

PS, I realized I made an error on my Initial post. The guy i purchased this from in the 70's name was.. Alex Mclean, owner Motorcycles Unlimited. He was a member of the Norton racing team for many many years.
PSS I put the part on ebay, We'll see

Looks to have a ding in the exhaust valve seat?
Holy crap, Ive never noticed that jeez it appears to effect about 30% of the seat. I'm going to install the springs and spray some carb. cleaner or something in the port to see if it leaks, I'm not sure if thats a good test or not. Talk about good eye, ive looked at this thing a thousand times and never noticed.

I'm one. Original owner. There are others here too.
Oh yeah .
When I first got into Nortons and other Brit bikes the writing was on the wall for the death of the industry , so I hoarded away what I could , thinking parts availability would sooner or later dry up .
Boy was I wrong .
Nowadays we can have any part we need in our hands fairly quickly , if need be . Improved too , or superseded .
Can't say that for older Japanese models that took over in the late 70 's . Not that I pursue that search .
Go figure .

It looks like the cutter from the other valve machining operation impinged on it.
