Do note that the whiz bang electrics carbon-energy hogs with toxic rare element metal battery chemistry - can only do one lap so far before time to recharge its polluting costly ways.
 
Well, I dont think the factory Peter Williams Commando did the full complement of laps either..
& if you could get a NASA surplus plutonium fuel cell, then a electrickery motorcylce could be feasible, L.O.L.
Incidentally, those deep space probes so powered are still ticking over [their Geiger counters].
 
Yes sir, when and if fuel cells get practical in transport, look out with liquid fuel energy density and two powered wheels to hook up 100's of hp and instant torque quiet as a whirl and tire noise.
 
I was looking for the photo I took of the Rotary at full noise at the TT but no luck....but found my glossy Norton brochure, first day 1991 cover stamps and one pound note....ahhh memories washed down with a pint of Bushies....
