You seem to be the "hybrid Yoda" on the forum,I've got a new to me 1967 N15 serial # 117188 I've yet to see it as its coming from Chicago but it looks great in the photos and it's being bought from a well respected member of the CNO group,so what can you tell me about my new machine,I'm told it's got a mag...being a early 67 bike... It's supposed to be a numbers matching bike, this sounds right to me,I've asked these questions in a previous post but I'll ask again..... I love the look of the high pipe P11 scrambler and would like to replicate that look with my machine.... Of course without making any permanent changes,I'd like to put the high pipes on,which I am reading have clearance issues with the tach drive cable.... Please advise on this,I also would like the small "shorty" seat and the engine skid plate, the bars, fenders, are the foot pegs different too ? seem to be the same.... I am not wanting to make this bike into something it's not and surely a hybrid "expert" will spot the differences, but hey it's going to be pleasing to me and my eye right ? So can you please advise as to what vendors are good and reliable.... And which ones to steer clear of ,does this bike have a oil filter ? Or a sludge trap in the crank ? Any thing you can help with would be much appreciated
