And usually available discounted from any of the big 'tire'n'zorst' merchants if you don't mind wrestling them on yourself... (Been there... Done that!)

Interesting comments on the 90/90/19 with 100/90/19 combination in posts above above

Avon web site claims the Roadrider MKII 90/90/19 to be 99mm wide and 647 in diameter.
When I fitted one to a 19" Akront 1.85 front rim it actually measured as 91mm wide and 642mm diameter
Avon said this is because of the 1.85" rim.

Avon web site claims the 100/90/19 Roadrider to be 109mm wide and 671mm in diameter.
I have no data on the fitted size.

So, 671 - 642 = 29mm, and divide by 2 gives 14mm smaller rear radius than front tyre, presumably
tipping the back of the bike down?

It is interesting that this difference does not appear to affect the handling, may even be beneficial?

Less of a problem for Joe as he has 19” both ends.

And if Joe uses the traditional pattern AM9 4.10/19 both ends the whole bike will be level (ish)

Michelin, Bridgestone, IRC are all quality tubes.

Bridgestone are good quality as well.

Remember the “universal” (fits front or rear position) Avon Roadrider defaults to low tread depth out of the box, so, stock spares.

That’s one area where the Roadrunner scores over the Roadrider...

The Roadrunner universals have 7mm tread depth, the Roadrider universals have 5.6mm tread depth.

I have been running the Avon AM26's for several years, love them. Went to replace the rear last month and couldn't find them. Many of my regulad go to places such as Revzilla were out. Found what I needed at Drag Specialties for $136, ouch.

Is it possible to still buy K81 TT100 in 18 inch in the UK ? I would be grarteful if somebody would post a link to a supplier.
