I’m restoring a N15CS from a basket case. It didn’t come with a fuel tank, so I’ve now got one that fits, I’ve got the fitting kit from Andover Norton and I can work out how it mounts at the rear.
There are two mounts, a rubber ring and a rubber pad.
How do I mount it to the bike?
Can someone post a photo of it?
Thanks,
Mark

Hi Mark,
Does the fuel tank you have look like the tank in the Andover photo I sent you a link to? I.e., does it have the two vertical cylindrical tunnels at the front?
This is where the bolt/rubber assembly fits into.

Mark,

The rubber pad goes over the frame spine at the rear of the tank. Use a plastic tie strap to hold it in place, or glue it on the tube (split of pad under the spine tube of course). The rubber O-ring is hooked on to two button head dowels welded at the rear of the tank, each side of the spine tunnel. Thus, the tank is cushioned by the pad and the strap, up and down. I am sure there are some pictures on the net if you perform a search.

Mark,
Your frame should have a fixture for accepting the long bolts from the mounting kit. See the attached photo with fixture outlined.
Although this is a P11 frame, your N15 fram should have a similar fixture.
