Now that the Commando is part of the stable I'm getting itchy again.
I think my next bike will be a either be Ducati 916,996 or a 998.
I may already be in the market but my wallet says I'm not (But my Visa is ready to pounce)
Whats next on your list?

I almost had and always wanted a Honda Hawk GT 647. A friend of mine in Iowa let me ride his. I hate him for that. I keep looking for one, but my wallet and wife always seems to say no.

'66 Triton

On the shelves so far:
'66 Norton 650SS Slimline Featherbed frame
'66 Triumph T120R Bonneville 650 engine
Ceriani forks, early Commando wheels & brakes
Early Commando central oil tank
Chantland 750cc big bore kit
LyteDrive belt drive primary kit
"Bum Stop" boat-tail Manx style seat
Basic clip-on handlebars
Decent used stainless steel fenders front & rear
Amal 930 Concentric carbs

I'll end up installing a Sparx electronic ignition on it, I'm sure. It will be hand-wired and use minimalist aftermarket lighting.

I need to fabricate a set of engine mounting plates and rearset footpegs & linkages.

I am hoping to find a deal on an aluminum "Sprint" style gas tank for it.

Not everyone's cup of tea, but it shold be a fun bike to twitch about on...

1972 BSA Series 2, 750 Rocket 3. 840cc kit, 3 in 1 pipe, double discs, Borrani rims, Daytona fairing and seat, red and white paint scheme. Think Dick Mann and Jim Rice in the coolest era of racing motorcycles.

Lately, I've been thinking that I would like something with Knobby Tires.

whoo, me 2. Think I might go for a husvarna 610 or 630, but a couple years off so I'm not thinking too hard

If I cannot ride cause of my arm I'll try a Can Am Spyder 3 wheelers...
If I can ride I may want a lighter touring/adventure bike: BMW gs1000, 800. Triumph etc... Love a Velo too....

You guys thinking of a dirt bike, there's a decent deal on vintagebikeracing.com I think it's a Yamaha 460(?).

If money was no object it would be one of these

My next Bike will be a .... ?

Until then, I'll stick with the MZ

That's a long way to travel for underseat exhaust.

A flat tank Norton (thats 1928 or earlier), just a minor issue on availability and cash to clear first.

The Triumph Demo truck was in town last summer and I rode a 675 Street Triple and was amazed. It doesn't quite have the grunt of my 1050 Sprint, but it's light weight and nimbleness certainly make up for that. Like the say "It's more fun to drive a slow bike fast than a fast bike slow" The Street Triple is by no means slow though with nearly 100hp.

A 59/69 Triton if I ever finish the sodding thing!
As for a new bike, the only one on the market I would consider is a new Commando, I figure I can just about afford one if I live on rice and pasta for two years and max out my two credit cards :D
