I went on a shake down run through the sierra's yesterday hwy 49 89 and 30 miles down interstate 80. 175 miles total and a max speed of 75mph on one of the straight stretches between the curves on 89 mostly in the 40 to 60 mph range, really scoots coming out of the corners.

A great ride with lots of winding and mountain curve, 15 through 45 mph recommended speeds along the Yuba river. Fall colors were almost perfect.

The Norton did great and would have been happy going a lot faster through the twisties than I was Solid ride and the only real issue was an exhaust nut that came loose, found a NAPA auto and borrowed a wrench to tighten it enough to get home. Safety wire today.

Motor was strong and smooth I do not care for the freeway so much a little searching on the grooves, boring and the helmet feels like a parachute and gave me a neck ache holding my head down. Idle is unbelievable, almost sounds like it quit when you pull the clutch coming to a stop, but still ticking at just over a 1000rpm, All in all a great day.
