When data is bivariate, cause and effect are you do X and yiou get Y. When it is multivariate, you need to recognise the pattern and develop an algorithm. Just increasing interest rates to control inflation is like raising tyre pressures on a road racing motorcycle. The problem is most university professors do not race motorcycles. A degree without experience is worhless to an employer. - What is Heisenberg's Uncertainty Pronciple ? -

When you are developing steel, you can end up with two matrices - one matrix is chemical compsition and heat treatments, the other matrix is physical properties. If you try to change the physical propertties by altering the chemical components, you cannot do it by changiung just one chemical component, becasse the chemicasl elements in the steel all affect each other You need to use a pattern recognition technique.
A similar situation applies to data from superbike engine management systems. How many variables are there ?

Made it 56 seconds...⏱️

What if I told you.. quantitative easing has got us all to this point.
Inflation is another po..tical word for taxation
Q.E = printing money...
Unfortunately its going to get worse before it never gets better...

Mathematics probably began with patterrr cognition by the human brain, Simply adjusting interest rates to achiene an economic out come, might be as silly as just raising the tyre pressures on a road racing motorcycle. It might avhieve something but not much. THe whole package and the environment it in which it is used probably needs to be considere. If you look at the paintings by Escher, you can see perpetualy motion - the monks climb the stairs forever. SEnsibly you know it is not possible, but your brain can only see one sopt on the picture at one time. You need to consider the whole picture to make sense of it.
