Interesting idea, but I wonder if it really adds much over riding pants with hip and knee pads installed. After my last crash from a pickup truck pulling out in front of me, I bought an Alpinestar Tech-Air inflatable vest, shown here
I wear it religiously now, along with riding pants with hip and knee protectors, boots, gloves and helmet. But I don't see a significant advantage to the balloon pants. I've also not seen anything similar in the pants part of current airbag racing suits.
