Re: Mk3 Rear wheel, chain, rear sproket - help please!

I thought we had already established the source (and the probable cause) of the clicking noise half way down page 1?

Embarrassingly enough, after re-aligning the wheel, the chain stopped jumping - my bad - and thank you for all your input.

The space between the hub and sprocket is normal.

The click still happens when the sprocket vanes engage the hub, but only upon engagement and not continually during running - normal.

Thank you all for your insightful input and analysis - without this forum, my bike would be in boxes.

Hope you all have a wonderful day!

My MK 111 sleeps in boxes ,know about the forum. Apparently it needs a stack of small papers with zeros printed upon. Have had a chain recently making clicking noises upon takeoff 1 to 10 M.P.H. then disappear. Worn out ,a new one made the difference. I am going to look at a Forum member's MK 111 in a few hours here in Toronto , he needs more motivation, will ask about his small papers supply. Peter n' Crazy Combat.
