Euro 4 2017 CR 13500 miles My engine light came on and the engine started misfiring which got progressively worse. Norton had provided a while back a new green tab MAP sensor and cam sensor to replace the unbranded originals so I first swapped the cam sensor. No difference. Tried disconnecting the lambda sensors; initially seemed to be better but went rough after a minute or two. Swapped the MAP sensor and bingo! So even the updated MAP sensor is fallible. As I posted in another thread we should have a pack of replacement sensors/ coils etc which could be leant for the cost of postage to anyone who is suffering bad running since we don’t seem to be able to read ECU errors.....

Thanks to my K&N intake setup this was all possible without removing the tank...

I hope my experiences may be of use to someone.

Could you please give us the make & part number for the MAP sensor as there doesn't appear to be one shown in the Alternative Parts list?

It's there but referred to differently. They are quite expensive, so have a look on Ebay for used ones (as long as they are Yamaha items, they should be ok).

Bearing in mind my 'new' one failed - whether the eight or so thousand miles I've done on it or the three years since swap I would not recommend a second hand one. Best price I've seen new is around £140

I am happy to say that my 2014 SCS bike doesn't use a MAP sensor. And I would think if you installed a SCS Delta 400 you could eliminate yours also ?

Begone agent of beelzebub do not try and tempt me away from the true path of Omex. Really what is there to gain? Apart from being able to read errors. And fuel the bike correctly. And get support from a company who provides support. And just don't ask how long I have spent swapping injectors to get the fuelling right okay?

Gotta respect a man who enjoys a challenge!

@Clive Yeah, imagine being able to email a company with a few questions, and get an email back with suggestions and a few maps to try on the same day just because they're helpful and support their product. I apologise it was even brought up.
