Machining valve pockets in pistons

Been there, Done that. The only thing wrong with this method is that no matter how carful or how many precautions you take to prevent it, the Alloy swarf will somehow get past the pistons (or by any other method) and get into the sump of the engine-don’t ask me how I know :!: :(
