2 of the "buttons" are slightly proud,I will remove the lot and check for debris etc underneath, I am still not sure whether the spindle spacer is correct as the disc is not central to the caliper.
I thought I might add a bit about the history of the machine; the bike was registered in 1990, declared manufactured in 1974, my brother bought it from Bikerama, Hornsey, U.K. in 1991. It had a lot of receipts with it for crank balancing etc, the speedo reading is 17k, I suspect that is genuine. I also have a bill for £3000.00 from M. Hemmings for work carried out, I guess he built it as it does sport Hemmings Norvil badges, points cover and head steady. In 17 years he only put about 2k on it just using it for Beezumph(UK. M/c club rally/trackday, I am a Trident owner) as he hasn't rode it for 3yrs & was intending to emigrate to Spain I offered to buy it as I thought it was too good to pass up, so I am just working thro' it a bit at a time & intend taking it to Beezumph as well as the triple
