Mine makes the same noise. Posted about it a while back and had a lot of ppl tell me its normal. Been riding it since. No problems. If it runs good, ride it. Now if I can get the rear fender from shaking all over the place...

Ugh, THE Gravel teaches all - like to place rubber washers under brackets, mud guard and battery tray attachments. Putting a good waist in the muffer mounts also helps but then they need replacing more often, but better than the clang of fractured header so still ahead of the break downs of normal usage.

Haha! I know, right! Im so used to all the strange noises that if it stopped making them id probably freak out! Like, what's this strange noise??? Oh, its the wind! So, that's what that sounds like! :D

Its fun - informative to shut off and coast down hill at highway speed. It also fun -informative to spend enough air time to sense what its like w/o isolastics able to function. Landing is another fun - informative experience too.

Landing is neither fun, nor informative. Just painfull. At least that's my experience. But then again my crashes don't usually involve killing dinner.

Ugh, I don't mean the crashing kind most of which have nothing to teach or learn expect that you are not in complete control of you fate on a cycle.

But on purpose in right places it is very fun and informative. My long past and my current environment are conducive to this and something I want to master up to some sane amount I can expect me and bike to survive. I had Peel solid silent on hard landings, some very harsh crash like for complete compression of suspension and frame blasting though gopher holes 50's mph and 5 ft tall berm leaps with axle deep ditch at top slammed into 25 ish mph. If your Cdo's ain''t like this then why not? Its so uncanny I'm spoiled permanently to any other motorcycle till I die.
