Looking for the best seat available for a Wideline, who sells the best?

Stock seat, or custom seat ?
Year ?

Leightons in the UK still make stock seats.
No guarantees it'll be the best for what you have in mind, however...

I particularly like this one ,the vinyl has a better texture, and a better shape right behind the fuel tank that I'm looking for. I might have to recover a new one to get a seat that I'm fond of.

I run a Commando Innerstate seat on my Wideline just have to change the position of the brakets it fit perfect and is so much comfortable, I have a dual seat for when I have a passenger, but now I run a Innerstate seat with the hump at the back for sole riding as now my Norton has solo rego, you can ride all day with out any problems, I had one of those Featherbed seats as in that pic and found it to be to hard and uncomfortable.

Watch out for some of those reproduced seats, they are filled with a hard expanded polystyrene and not a sponge, don’t ask me how I know :(

I bought one like that. It was like sitting on a rocking horse.

I lifted the cover and cut plugs out of the foam with a hole saw. Looked like Swiss cheese. It was fine after that.

What brand of seat has the hard foam? Does anybody know of the person that owns the 56 I found a photo of and posted? I would like to figure out what seat he has.

Sorry- I bought one and I can't remember where from. It was about 12 years ago.

this seat I believe is an original that's why its shaped different than the repops. Anybody have an original for sale? :|

You proberly find thats a repo one as mine was the same shape, it was foam filled and was still very uncomfortable on the old bottom, thats one of the reasons I went with the innerstate seat and matches the tank good, I have the same tank on my Wideline as in that pic.

Have a look if the cover has been glued, there are many British bikes shops that sell them, I brought mine a long time ago and only used it once, didn't like it and sold it at a swap meet about 10 years later and got more for it than I brought it for so was all good.

It seems the repop seats do not have the shape ( and texture) as the original as shown in this repop seat photo . There is no distinct shaping at the front as the original seat has. The original seat flows its lines together with the lines and shape of the rear of the fuel tank.
