Vincent V5C registration document for sale on Ebay UK for £5000.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1951-Vincent- ... m51cf4417a
Very strange reading the details in the advert. The V5C is for a 1951 Vincent but the frame ,which in the UK is the part that carries the identity of a vehicle, is from a Manx Norton so somebody has managed to get the frame number changed on the V5C .Only the V5C is being sold for £5000 which begs the question
where is the bike that this document belongs to ,which, on the DVLA website ,was last on the road in 1994.If it was broken up the V5C should have stayed with the frame. If it was stolen or scrapped the V5C should have been returned to DVLA. The vendor is technically leaving himself open to prosecution under section 44 of the Serious Crimes Act 2007 as he is offering to sell something that the only use for it is to change the identity of another vehicle which is illegal.
Quite surprised Ebay haven't pulled the ad as it is probably in breach of their terms.
