In the end though, he gets it. You either do, or you don’t! It’s not for everybody, but it’s a bike that ya really can’t comment on unless you’ve ridden it. He seems to be doing it justice.

The T120 is Roger Moore, and the 961 is Sean Connery, Hummm?
However, to his credit, he did say "I may be delusional."

I think the Norton 961 power delivery is more visceral than the Bonneville , you can hear it and feel it. The 961 may be too visceral for some .

Definitely - I suspect that a young Freddie regularly attended ‘amateur dramatics for the well heeled’ in his formative years. No doubt he’d be the leading man! He loves the 961 though, so obviously he’s a very astute young man!!

Hi Steve , I think you are correct , he is out of riding shape . What Iv'e added to mine are higher bars and a more padded seat . But he is a taller guy so his legs may be more bent ? A higher sear and higher bars would help him a great deal.

Spot on Tony, he’s a taller guy and those pegs are high and tight! It’s the position of the lower body that’s the main issue (especially if taller) - combined with the stretch across that big tank.

340 miles is a good ride on the 961 - certainly could’nt do it on my CR without crippling myself. I’m 6ft and often get hip cramps/lockups that force me to stop and stretch off. Don’t tour on mine though so less of a problem - after 150-180km I’m ready to get off and drink beer!
