Hi All.
Magneto is in place with AAU.
But when i search to tight the bolt of the AAU the magneto,s shaft turn so that is impossible to tight and i loose the setting.
There is a way to stop the magneto shaft and tight?.
Thank you Piero

Press the unit hard onto the shaft with your thumbs before tightening the nut.

If that doesn’t make it stick, then the taper on the shaft or in the AAU is in poor condition.

The tapers sometimes need a little grinding together with fine carborundem to get a good fit.

Hi All.
Why Lucas K2F for Atlas engine must be an Anti-clockwise.
Even if the AAU turns anticlock wise (with vieu from timing side) the magneto shaft and points turn clock wise (with view from left driving side).
Something is not clear to me.
Piero

Not clear what you are asking, but if you want to verify all is correct, assuming bike is assembled, turn rear wheel in normal direction of travel and observe direction of rotation at magneto points and magneto sprocket. Whatever you see is correct. Sorry if this is a "cave man" answer to your question.

Hi.
I have edited my question.
With view from right timing side the magneto AAU sprocket turns anticlock wise.
The points with view from left drive side turn clockwise.
What is the side to choose for the wise?
Thank you.
Piero
