I used to tune a Bultaco 360 MX bike for a friend - every thing was a wheelie, same with my T250 Suzuki methanol fuelled racer. I've never had my Seeley stand up, it goes nowhere near it - however I never slam the throttle open. I just gas it firmly and hard particularly coming out of corners. Next time I take it out, I will try to stand it up. I usually pull a lot of gearing, that might be stopping it from happening. With the old 4 speed CR box, it used to lurch off the start line if I really cooked the clutch - it used to almost stall first gear was so high.

Oh yeah loading with cargo or pillion is cheating but does ease doing wheelies and feeling out balance point. in '04 returning home with reduced cargo from Ohio camp rally a sports rider pulled up at a stop light and asked what year my old thing was then light changed and i gave a bit too much throttle to wheelie 45' across 4 land intersection, which impressed me as much as any one not intending to do that. Longest held wheelies on Peel was the 3 story climb outs far side of ravine drops to speed up for the head light in chest standing vertical on pegs and roostering just enough not to drag down speed as sure no traction to gain any.
